Dahi Masonry Co. recently completed a front entrance restoration project in Burlington Masonry, Ontario involving n

atural stone masonry, steel lintel installation, and front porch repairs.

The existing entrance required structural and cosmetic improvements after the front door opening was adjusted. Our scope of work included removing affected stonework, preparing the openings, installing new steel lintels above the door and nearby window, and rebuilding the surrounding natural stone veneer.

Natural Stone Rebuild Work

Natural stone projects require patience and precision. Unlike manufactured products, each stone must be individually selected, shaped, and fitted to create a clean finished appearance. We carefully rebuilt the stone around the new entrance layout while maintaining strong support and a natural visual blend.

Lintel Replacement and Structural Support

We installed:

• New 6 ft steel lintel above the front door

• New 9 ft steel lintel above the adjacent window

Lintels are essential for supporting the masonry above openings and preventing future movement or cracking.

Front Porch Repairs

Additional work included:

• Repairing cracked mortar joints

• Restoring sections of the porch area

• Minor parging repairs below the entrance

• Final cleanup and finishing touches
