Stone Repair and Repointing in Brampton

This week we completed a detailed stone restoration project in Brampton. The work included grinding and repointing loose and cracked joints around the front entry and arch, resetting a few shifted stones, and repairing a deteriorated concrete base between the two garage doors.

The front limestone steps were also realigned for a tighter, cleaner fit, improving both appearance and safety. Cracked joints along the decorative arches were carefully ground out and repacked with fresh Type S mortar, restoring strength and a seamless finish.

All repairs were done by hand to preserve the home’s original look while extending the life of the masonry. The end result is a refreshed, solid entryway that looks great and will stand up better to the weather.
